Melissa
Veterinary Technician
Melissa is a veterinary technician and has been with our team since 2021. Melissa has a passion for emergency and critical care and was previously a paramedic for human patients. Because of her lifelong love of animals, she made the switch to veterinary medicine. In her veterinary career, Melissa enjoys emergencies and surgery as well as taking care of patients in the hospital and seeing them go home healthy to their owners. Her future career goals include going to veterinary school at Kansas State University and becoming a veterinarian herself! Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, painting, and reading. Her own pets include a Siberian Husky Mix named Mika (6), a Siberian Husky named Maya (4) and a German Shepherd Mix, Dobby (2), who Melissa is fostering.
